  • Guild of Age of Conan

This is a pretty important question you need to consider. Some players like to play through a game solo and enjoy it as more of a single player experience. You get the benefit of not answering to anyone, and you set your own play times, and experience the game at your pace. You have no allegiances and you can just enjoy your random interactions with all the players around you. Or you may decide you want to be part of a community and develop slightly more involved relationships with other gamers. DO you want to work together to achieve bigger goals, and act as a team? When doing this you should consider what type of team you're looking for. Are you interested in mainly PVP? PVE? A social /casual environment? A crafter heavy society? Figure out the top 3 things you want from a guild before approaching one to join.

  • More information about AOC Dungenons

Dungeons seem pretty interesting so far, with some being easier, outdoor locations that can be beaten solo. The more difficult ones, like the Sanctum of the Burning Souls, require a group and have better loot drops, as should be expected. Within the Sanctum were spiders and lost souls, a stone-walled ravine section with blood waterfalls and a pool below, and a boss encounter against a giant skinless demon. I got a piece of blue medium armor for myself with a nice design pattern on it, and it differed significantly in appearance from any of the equipment I'd seen previously. Even though the armor and weapon designs in the game are simply fantastic, it's annoying to see that after 20 or 30 levels your character's armor and weapons look largely unchanged, a result of a lot of the world drops and non-dungeon quest rewards having much in common in terms of visual appearance within their armor type categories.

  • Breaking-news for Age of Conan

The game is on schedule for launch the 20th of May as we speak. We polish, remove annoyances, and optimize. Finally the client is approaching the target rendering performance, and it certainly is looking smooth. We are working hard on the features we haven't shown off in beta, features we have held back on purpose to have some new revelations at launch. Among these are spellweaving, massive PVP, and DirectX 10 [graphics]. In addition to this, the classes are getting their final overhauls before launch.

  • Learning the cues of other games

After a few more games we started learning the cues. Auras surround character's protected areas. So if we saw an opening above the character's head a downward slash would be used. If they were unarmoured on the left, we'd attack accordingly. You have to be swift, fast on your feet and a quick thinker. The combat gets quite deep and having the right attacks hot keyed to the numerical keys was essential. You'd find yourself trying to use a deadly equation of 1's, 2's and 8's. The games were fierce and fast, bloody and utterly engaging. We would have liked more modes of PvP combat but what we got was great - even though our poor barbarian was frequently battered about.

  • Age of Conan Exploits - End of Week Review

This week I got the DT to 79, and we did quite a bit of city building. One part of the game I am not focusing on (right now) is crafting, this is due to many reasons. The Devs have a lot of fixes to implement as well as the fact that my guild already has a lot of crafters in it.Be a professional Age of Conan gold store online.

  • Quickly arming ourselves for Age of Conan

Our character was once a slave pulling oars on a ship. Said vessel proves to be less than sea worthy and - after a savage storm - is ripped apart leaving us to the whims of the salty sea. Soon we washed up on dry land, on a beach with a lush jungle before us. Quickly arming ourselves, rather ironically, with a broken oar we moved into the jungle. Here we encountered bandits, archers, apes and ugly beasts. Happily most of these creatures were quite easily dispatched, raising our experience level and allowing us to steal clothes - as the loin cloth was just not a good look - armour and items like gold teeth which no doubt would be able to be bartered at a merchant's stall or shop.

  • Black Ring Citadel - Age of Conan

We ended our tour with a brief visit to an extremely high-level dungeon known as "Black Ring Citadel," a level-80 dungeon (80 will be the highest character level you can attain at the game's launch) intended for the game's full "raid" contingent of up to 24 characters. The dungeon itself seemed to be an elegant temple under construction, alternating between rooms floored with red marble and pillars adorned with golden serpents, on the more developed side, and stony caves being carved out by slave crews. Apparently, the dungeon will be the base of a mad wizard who has discovered the secret of animating stone gargoyles and bending the beasts to his will, so players will be attacked by smaller stony creatures before confronting the sorcerer himself. The sorcerer, when defeated, actually tumbles out of his robes and becomes a gigantic, stony monstrosity.

  • Starting our tour of Age of Conan

We began our tour of the game by quickly creating a new character from the game's character creation screen, which is actually the belly of a slave galley from which your character escapes with a case of amnesia. We quickly created a new Cimmerian character (Cimmeria is the homeland of Conan and one of the nations of origin you can choose for your character, along with Aquilonia and Stygia) and jumped into action. At the beginning of your adventure, your character washes up naked on a beach bordering a jungle, armed only with a fragment of an oar as a weapon.
